The MFAS is also capable to be used for other purposes such as CCTV, Advertising etc.

Aesthetic Towers
The design of MFAS is divided into 2 categories:

a.    The superstructure is made of 100% steel sections except for the foundation which is reinforced concrete. The superstructure is the part of the structure from ground level upwards whereas the foundation is defined as the structure beneath the ground level comprising the stump and the footing or pile cap. All four load bearing steel legs are continuous with tapers from ground level upwards.

b.    Not only do the structure supports telecommunication dishes and antennas at its top portion but it also supports heavy telecommunication equipment such as radio base station (RBS), transmission equipments, batteries, rectifier, alternate current distribution board (ACDB) and others at its bottom portion which is at the ground and 1st floor level.

c.    At the Ground Level, the equipment shall sit on the concreteslab which is supported by ground beams. At the 1st floor level, the equipment shall sit on steel plates, meshes and joists which are supported by the perimeter steel beams. The perimeter steel beams are in turn supported by the four steel legs.

The superstructure will be covered (Clad) using materials such as fiberglass reinforced concrete (“FGRC”), expanded polystyrene (“EPS”) and fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP). The actual cladding for each structure would depend on the specific design of each location to reflect the façade of the main building and its surroundings.
